New 47 meter (154.20′) steel displacement with the interior designed by the award winning Bannenberg and Rowell sister ship to LADY PETRA and ELENA
Project RUYA features a sun deck that is double that of many other mid-40metre yachts and can be dedicated to any purpose – sunbathing, dining, entertaining or working out in the gym. Three other deck levels include a foredeck lounge and dining area that provide privacy when in port. Providing maximum interior volume under 500GT results in exceptional levels of comfort with accommodation for up to 12 guests.
Project RUYA is one of the newly styled vessels in the award-winning 47-metre class, a breed of Heesen’s that are icons of classic contemporary yacht design. With a massive range of 4,000nm at cruising speed, the precision-engineered round bilge hull and zero-speed stabilisers ensure safe and comfortable cruising in all sea conditions. Her handsome exterior styling and Heesen’s hallmark ‘pelican’ bow is by Omega Architects. This beautiful sister-ship to M/Y LADY PETRA and M/Y ELENA (ELENA has recently been nominated for the World SuperYachts Award 2015 and for the Asia Boating Award for Best Worldwide Semi Custom Built Yacht 2015) will be ready for delivery in Spring 2017.
The name Ruya has several beautiful translations that perfectly embody this amazing superyacht. It is an old Chinese word that describes the wise, modest, and self-cultivating nature of an ancient scholar. “Applied to the build, it fits in nicely with Heesen’s Mission Statement: to build outstanding yachts with exceptional standards of engineering and meticulous attention to detail.” said Mr. Bell when he proposed the name on our Facebook. Ruya also translates to “vision” in Arabic and to “dream” in Turkish.
